Continuous improvement

MaryDan Farm is always on the lookout for best practices in sustainable agriculture. Our method is to create permanent planks that promote drainage. This practice also allows us to avoid compaction at the place of our crops by circulating with the machinery always at the same place, that is, in the furrows. Today we are at 25 acres out of 40 in permanent boards and soon at 100% of our area.

Our commitments

Marydan Farm is committed to seeding the inter-rows (furrows) with stabilizing plants to avoid erosion, to respect a strategic rotation to avoid diseases that could harm future crops. In addition, we avoid leaving our land bare by introducing choice green manures that will improve the soil structure and bring many positive elements to the next crops.
